Icematic: Rainbow Tech, Evaporator Protection

The evaporator is the beating heart of an ice machine and that is why all Icematic M series machines come standard with Rainbow Technology®, a patented protection system designed to extend the life of this important element.
What is Rainbow tech®? It is the patented nano-technological treatment that protects evaporators from aggressive agents as, for instance, those contained in some waters but also from wrong chemicals used for cleaning.
“ICE PRODUCED BY ICEMATIC MACHINES IS USED NOT ONLY FOR COCKTAILS AND BEVERAGES, BUT ALSO IN FOOD PRODUCTION SECTOR, IN COSMETICS, IN SPA CENTRES AND IN MEDICAL FACILITIES”

A very thin vitrification layer of the evaporator surface helps with a perfect release of ice cubes, furthermore, the limescale formation is reduced for a total durability and food safety.

While all M series machines come standard with Rainbow tech®, the use of a proper water filter is still recommended, especially for water that is heavy in minerals and total dissolved solids.

Advantages of Icematic’s Rainbow Tecnology®

In Icematic tradition of a constant qualitative and technological improvement of its products, we are pleased to present the new patent, which will allow a significant qualitative and functional step forward for our Modular ice makers.

We now provide “Rainbow protection” to our customers, a solution patented by Castelmac for its modular evaporators, which allows you to have the following advantages:

  • Reduction over time of the deposit of limestone or organic compounds, compared to current evaporators, with consequent reduction in cleaning and maintenance times.
  • Increased flow of ice on the evaporator fins during defrosting, with a consequent reduction in ice production times, and a consequent increase in ice production.
  • Increased resistance to wear, due to the use of sanitizers and descalers, which, if used inappropriately, shorten the life of the evaporators, forcing costly replacements over time, and forced production stops.
  • Elimination of the presence of residues in the water, due to wear and tear of the evaporators over time.
  • In general, the life time of the evaporators increases, with a consequent reduction of the warranty costs.
